About Vijit
Vijit S. Chahar is an experienced New York based attorney focused on US corporate and business laws.
He is also a hands-on advisor to foreign startups, entrepreneurs and investors — providing them a single point of contact for structuring, financing and managing their US operations.
Vijit brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of foreign business developed over a career spanning the US, India, The Netherlands, Germany and Italy. Prior to starting his New York practice, he worked as a Supreme Court litigator, UN senior researcher, and securities markets regulator.
Vijit is dual-licensed to practice law in India and the State of New York.
He regularly teaches classes for attorneys organized by the New York City Bar Association, gives talks at the US embassy in New Delhi and has presented lectures in countries around the world.
